Canney K.

Canney K. has a diverse work experience in the technology and telecommunications industry. They started their career in 1998 as an Account Manager at MCI Communications before moving to Verizon International Business Ventures Inc., where they served as a Senior Account Manager from 2000 to 2003 and then as a Strategic Account Director from 2004 to 2007. At Verizon, Canney K. was responsible for identifying and developing new accounts, implementing sales strategies, and leading and motivating their team.

In 2007, Canney K. joined F5 Networks as a Sales Manager, and after three years, they joined Akamai Technologies. At Akamai, Canney K. held various roles, including Senior Business Alliance Manager APAC from 2010 to 2013, Senior Channel Business Manager from 2013 to 2016, and Channel Business Manager Principal from 2016 to 2021. They played a key role in driving collaboration with partners and customers, building strategic partnerships, and supporting the sales cycle.

Most recently, Canney K. joined Saviynt in 2022 as the Director Partner & Alliance APAC. Their main responsibility is to oversee partner and alliance relationships in the Asia-Pacific region.

Throughout their career, Canney K. has demonstrated expertise in partner and alliance management, channel ecosystem development, sales strategy, and team leadership. They have a proven track record of driving business growth and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Canney K. pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Economics from Ottawa University, which they completed from 2001 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained several certifications from LinkedIn. These include "Communicating Across Cultures" in November 2021, "Be the Manager People Won't Leave" in September 2021, "Developing a Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Program" in September 2021, and "Transitioning to Management for Salespeople" in May 2021.
