Dr. Tony DeFrance has extensive experience in the medical industry. Tony began their career in 1996 as an Interventional Cardiologist at Santa Barbara Cardiovascular Medical Group. In 2004, they founded CVCTA Education, a medical education company devoted to teaching physicians and technologists how to optimally use cardiovascular imaging technology. In 2006, they founded Digimedica, an organization that provides optimal knowledge transfer systems and strategic consulting services for the medical industry. In 2008, they joined Stanford University School of Medicine as a Clinical Associate Professor. In 2009, they joined HealthHelp as a Cardiology Consultant, where they later became the Director of Cardiology and Chief Medical Officer. In 2018, they joined MedMentor Education as the Chief Executive Officer. Currently, they are the Chief Medical Officer at Savor Health.

Tony DeFrance, MD FSCCT has an extensive education history. Tony obtained their MD from the University of Southern California in 1990. Tony then completed their Internal Medicine Residency at the University of California, San Francisco - School of Medicine from 1990 to 1993. Tony then went on to complete their Interventional Cardiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center from 1993 to 1996. In addition to their medical degrees, they are also Board Certified in Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Board Certified in Lifestyle Medicine by the AMERICAN BOARD OF LIFESTYLE MEDICINE, and holds a Level 3 Competency in Cardiac CT Angiography from SCCT.
