Leah Boonthanom

Leah Boonthanom is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in corporate and internal communications. Currently, Leah serves as the Head of Corporate Communications at Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) Australia since February 2022, having previously held roles including Corporate Communications Manager and Internal Communications Manager within the same organization. Prior to SBS, Leah worked at Blackmores Group as Group Communications & Content Manager and held multiple positions at Australian Doctors International. Leah's diverse experience also includes working as a Marketing & Communications Manager at Croc Festival, as a Communications Officer at ActionAid, and as an Editorial & Photographic Coordinator at National Geographic. Leah holds a Master of Arts in Writing from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Media and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Macquarie University.
