Nic Christensen has extensive work experience in the media and communications industry. Nic is currently the Head of Corporate Communications at the Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) Australia, where they lead a team responsible for amplifying SBS's work in serving Australia's multilingual and First Nations communities. In this role, they have overseen major initiatives such as the implementation of SBS's ESG framework and the launch of the SBS WorldWatch channel.
Prior to joining SBS, Nic worked at Nine, where they held various roles including Head of Corporate Affairs, Head of Trade and Internal Communications, and Head of Digital Communications. During their time at Nine, they played a key role in managing corporate communications across the company's divisions of television, radio, and publishing.

Nic Christensen has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Political Science and International Relations from UNSW.
