Mónica Del Río

Mónica Del Río has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Mónica is currently employed as a Cloud Engineer at Escala 24x7 Inc. since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Teravision Technologies from December 2019 to June 2021, first as an Intermediate DevOps Engineer and later as a Junior DevOps Engineer. During their time at Teravision Technologies, Mónica gained expertise in AWS services such as Lambda Functions, ECR, ECS, and Secret Manager, and developed a strong understanding of the DevOps philosophy.

Before their role at Teravision Technologies, Mónica worked as a System Administrator at Andromeda Ventures from May 2017 to November 2018. Here, they focused on managing the internal network, utilizing technologies such as Ubuntu Server, OPNSense, Unifi Controller, StrongSwan, and more. Mónica was also involved in deploying production environments in the AWS cloud, gaining experience with Tomcat, Nginx, and various AWS services.

Mónica's work experience also includes a role as a Mobile Developer at Soluciones Tecnológicas Vivace, C.A. from November 2015 to June 2016. Here, they worked on projects involving a Venezuelan tourism application and a management of public works application, utilizing Ionic and Angular technologies.

Additionally, Mónica had internships at SILOCOM Internacional Corp from April 2015 to September 2015, where they developed a video and audio management system using Java SE 8 and tools like Netty, FFmpeg, FFserver, and Wireshark. Prior to that, they worked as a Mobile Developer at Soluciones Tecnológicas Vivace, C.A. from September 2014 to March 2015, working on an Android application for an insurance company and gaining experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery Mobile, and PhoneGap.

Throughout their various roles, Mónica Del Río has gained extensive knowledge and experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, system administration, and mobile development.

Mónica Del Río obtained an Engineer's degree in Computer Science from Universidad Simón Bolívar, where they studied from 2007 to 2016. Additionally, they obtained certifications in AWS (Amazon Web Services), including the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in April 2021, and the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner in October 2019.
