William Henao

William Henao has worked in the IT industry since 2018. In that year, they began working for Carvajal Tecnología y Servicios as an Implementation Engineer, where they implemented Electronic Invoicing in Colombia and trained the structure and decrees of the programs used in communication channels. William also performed Linux Server Administration. In 2019, they were promoted to DevOps Jr. at the same company, where they managed source code repositories and automated Bash-shell backups of source code in AWS S3, as well as updating the SonarQube tool. In 2020, they worked for MS Cloud Experts S.A.S (Elavon U.S) as a DevOps (Development Administrator), where they implemented and configured Dynamics 365 projects with continuous integration and continuous deployment. William also managed development and production environments. Later that year, they worked for Siesa as a DevOps Engineer, where they implemented, configured, and administered Nginx and Apache Web Servers, as well as implemented e-commerce web pages. In 2021, they worked for Aflore as a DevOps SRE, where they achieved the multi-cloud migration process from Azure to AWS, as well as the decoupling of monolith services to separate services. Currently, they are working for Escala 24x7 Inc. as a Cloud Engineer DevOps, where they are responsible for driving organizational culture changes for the adoption of standardized, documented, reliable and repeatable development and operations processes, as well as designing regional or global Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline architecture and regional or global AWS services for customer applications.

William Henao received a degree in Desarrollo De Sistemas De Software from Tecnologica Autonoma Del Pacifico in 2023 and a degree in Electronico from Instituto Universitario De Nuevas Profesiones in 2016. Additionally, they have obtained numerous certifications from various institutions such as Coursera, Platzi, Universidad de Antioquia, Udemy, and Microsoft between 2021 and 2022.
