Matt Kubit

Matt Kubit has a diverse work experience in the field of biosciences. Matt currently holds the position of Research Scientist II at Scale Biosciences, starting in June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Scientist, Genomic Molecular Analytics at Allogene Therapeutics from February 2022 to April 2023.

From February 2021 to February 2022, Matt served as a Scientist, NGS at Berkeley Lights, Inc., where they were responsible for the development, validation, customer-facing documents, and supporting product launch of the NGS protocol. Before this role, they worked as an Associate Scientist, NGS from May 2019 to February 2021.

Matt's earlier experiences include working as a Life Science Research Professional and Research Assistant at Stanford University School of Medicine from September 2016 to May 2019, and as a Lab Supervisor and Research Assistant at Santa Clara University from January 2014 to June 2015 and January 2013 to January 2014, respectively.

Matt Kubit completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Santa Clara University. Matt attended the university from 2012 to 2016. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biomolecular Engineering from Santa Clara University, where they studied from 2016 to 2018.
