Jennifer Brooks-Mason

Vice President, Digital Strategy at SCAN

Jennifer Brooks-Mason has over 20 years of experience in healthcare project management and digital strategy. Jennifer most recently served as the Vice President of Digital Strategy at SCAN Health Plan, where they were responsible for the company's digital presence and digital transformation. Prior to that, they held various leadership positions at SCAN Health Plan, including Senior Director of Digital Strategy and Project Management Office and Director of the Project Management Office. Jennifer also has experience working at HealthCare Partners, where they managed mid/large scale business redesign projects and software implementations as a Senior Project Manager. Jennifer also held roles as a Project Manager and Supervisor of MCA Reporting at HealthCare Partners, where they managed IT teams and led interdisciplinary committees. Throughout their career, Jennifer has been successful in managing cross-functional projects, implementing digital technologies, and improving operational functions in the healthcare industry.

Jennifer Brooks-Mason has a BA in International Politics from The George Washington University. Jennifer also holds a Certification in Project Management from the University of California, Berkeley, obtained between 2003 and 2006. Jennifer has an Executive Education Certificate in Leading Digital Transformation in Health Care from Harvard Medical School, obtained in 2020. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Health Care Economics from Harvard Business School Online in 2021. Currently, Jennifer is pursuing an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Wisconsin MBA Consortium, with an expected completion date in 2024. Jennifer also holds additional certifications in Health Care Economics from Harvard Business School Online (obtained in 2021) and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (obtained in 2007).
