Mireille Vankemmelbeke

Mireille Vankemmelbeke has an extensive work experience in the field of scientific research and medical writing. Mireille is currently working as a Principal Scientist at SCANCELL LIMITED since May 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Research Scientist at Scancell Ltd. from February 2018 to May 2021. Mireille also worked as a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham's Academic Unit of Clinical Oncology from March 2013 to January 2018. Mireille gained experience as an Associate Medical Writer at McCann Healthcare - Complete Medical Group from November 2012 to February 2013. Before that, they held the position of Senior Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham from January 2003 to October 2012. Mireille started their career as a Post-doctoral Research Associate at the University of Sheffield from September 2000 to December 2002.

Mireille Vankemmelbeke obtained their Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree from the University of Ghent (Belgium) between 1990 and 1995. Following this, they pursued higher education and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biochemistry from The University of Sheffield between 1997 and 2000.
