Jesper Petersen has an extensive work experience history. Jesper started their career in McDonalds Nykøbing F. in 1996 as a Medarbejder, Shift Manager, and Assistant. Jesper then worked at McDonalds Næstved as an Assistent from 1999 to 2000 and at McDonalds Kokkedal as a Restaurant Manager/Supervisor in 2000.
In 2000, Jesper joined Scandlines Catering A/S as a Supervisor until 2005 when they became a Shop Manager until 2009.
After that, they worked at Scandlines as a Project Manager from 2009 to 2012, where they were responsible for refits, rebuilds, modifications, and new builds in the retail and catering business. Jesper then transitioned to the role of Head of Roster Management from 2019 to 2020, where they oversaw shift planning for around 1,500 employees using Quinyx Workforce Management.
Jesper also worked as the Head of Manning at Scandlines Catering ApS from 2017 to 2018 and as a Senior Project Manager at Scandlines Catering A/S from 2019 to 2020.
Currently, they hold the positions of Head of Group HR Digitization, Learning & Projects and Supply Chain Director & Senior Project Manager at Scandlines since 2021 and 2022, respectively.
Jesper Petersen attended Det Danske Butiksakademi from 1997 to 1999, earning a degree in Akademi økonom. Prior to that, they attended Industri- og Håndværkerskolen from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained a Higher Technical Examination (HTX) degree in General, technological upper secondary vocational education. Jesper completed their primary education at Sct Joseph Søstrenes Skole from 1984 to 1994, receiving a Folkeskolens udvidet afgangseksamen (FUA) qualification.
