Ken Moodie has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles in the gaming industry. Ken began their career as a Betatest Administrator at Atari, Inc. in 2002. Ken then worked as an Audio Scripter at Shiny Entertainment from 2005 to 2005. From 2005 to 2006, they served as a Production Assistant/Web Specialist at Hopelab. Ken then returned to Shiny Entertainment as a Level Designer from 2006 to 2007. Ken joined Double Helix Games as a Game Designer, where they designed and scripted maps for a third-person single player and co-operative action game. Ken then worked at Neversoft as a Guitar/Bass Notetracker, Game Designer, Mission Designer, and Multiplayer Designer. During their time at Neversoft, they designed and implemented tutorial systems, integrated social media support, and developed asynchronous multiplayer challenge systems. In 2014, they became an Independent Developer/Consultant, developing game and utility applications for mobile and tablets and providing software development consultation. Ken then joined Sixense Enterprises Inc. as a Technical Designer and later as a Senior Designer, where they designed and scripted therapeutic activities for a medical VR platform. Ken also developed tools for rhythm gameplay and worked on the Music in Motion project. Most recently, Ken joined Penumbra, Inc. as a Lead Game Designer, leading the design department in creating VR physical and cognitive rehabilitation experiences for the REAL Immersive System. Ken designed engaging activities and applications that provided beneficial outcomes for patients and collaborated with physical therapists. In 2022, Ken joined Schell Games as a Senior Game Designer.

Ken Moodie attended San Jose State University from 1996 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Digital Media.
