Gary Van Overborg has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. From 1999 to 2006, they were a Senior IT Systems Lead at USAA, where they managed the design, development, and implementation of enterprise electronic commerce solutions and web-based insurance applications. Gary also delivered presentations, including critical design reviews, process formulation, and training courses. From 2006 to 2008, they were the Director of R&D at MarketPowerGroup, where they directed the design, development, and implementation of a proprietary buying system for television and online ads that reduced media costs by up to 35%. Gary also helped found ClickForensics, a promising start-up in Austin, by directing the development of the leading online click fraud detection software. From 1994 to 1999, they were the owner of Van's Data Systems, a consulting company focused on innovative data-driven solutions for select clients. Finally, from 2008 to present, they have been the Founder and CEO of Scholarly iQ, LLC, which provides eBusiness services, including COUNTER compliant engines, SUSHI XML reporting, and usage statistics platforms.
Gary Van Overborg received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Information Systems from the University of the Incarnate Word in 2000, having started their studies there in 1998.
