Arie Abecassis

Arie Abecassis is a director at SchoolPass and a venture partner/mentor at DreamIt Ventures. Arie has also served as chairman of the board and board director at SeatGeek, and as a board member at Bizness Apps.

Arie has over 10 years of experience in the technology and startup industries. Arie began their career at Bizness Apps, where they served as a board member for six years. During their time at Bizness Apps, Arie helped the company grow from a small startup into a leading DIY mobile app creation and management platform for more than 100K SMBs.

In 2011, Arie joined DreamIt Ventures as a venture partner/mentor. At DreamIt, Arie has helped invest in and mentor numerous early-stage startups, including The Athletic, Seamless.ai, Lev, Loupe, Veritonic, Blueprint Title, Dibbs, Podchaser, Recover Athletics, FitBark, and MAZ Systems.

Most recently, Arie has been serving as chairman of the board and board director at SeatGeek since 2010. In this role, Arie has been providing business and financial advice to early-, expansion-, and late-stage growth companies in a variety of industries.

Arie Abecassis has an MBA in Finance and Technology from NYU Stern School of Business and a BS in Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School.
