Garth Taljard

Garth Taljard serves as the Global Head of Investment Product and Multi-Asset Management at Schroders since 2011, overseeing the investment product's governance across various asset classes to deliver high-quality client solutions. Previously, Garth held roles including Head of Multi-Asset Management, managing the global business, and Head of Multi-Asset Product for Asia, focusing on developing the multi-asset business in the region. Before joining Schroders, Garth managed a $2.5 billion multi-asset absolute return fund as a Portfolio Manager at Old Mutual Investment Group and worked as an Investment Structuring Actuary, designing various investment products. Garth began a career as an Actuarial Specialist at Metropolitan Life. Garth holds a Bachelor of Business Science in Actuarial Science from the University of Cape Town, a Fellowship from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, and a CFA designation from the CFA Institute.
