Theresa Deloach-Malivert

Theresa DeLoach-Malivert has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Theresa currently serves as the Head of Business Development at Schulte Roth + Zabel LLP since November 2023. Prior to this role, they held various positions at Goodwin, including Managing Director of Strategic Engagement and Client Relations from October 2022 to November 2023, Director of Strategic Alumni Engagement and Client Relations from December 2021 to October 2022, and Director of Business Development - Financial Industry from August 2019 to December 2021.

Before joining Goodwin, Theresa had a tenure at Jenner & Block, where they worked as an Associate Director from May 2019 to August 2019 and as a Senior Business Development Manager from January 2015 to May 2019. Earlier in their career, they held significant roles at JAMS, serving as Senior Practice Development Manager from October 2011 to January 2015 and Practice Development Manager from June 2009 to September 2011.

Furthermore, Theresa worked as a Director at Lateral Link from January 2008 to June 2009, overseeing attorney placements and client services in California. Theresa also served as a Placement Director at Special Counsel from March 2004 to January 2007. Their career began as an Extern at the California Supreme Court in 2002.

Throughout their career, Theresa has demonstrated expertise in business development, strategic engagement, client relations, marketing, and attorney placements.

Theresa DeLoach-Malivert completed their JD degree in Law from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) from 2000 to 2003. Prior to that, they obtained a BA degree in Political Science & International Relations from the University of Southern California from 1996 to 1999. In addition, they hold certifications in Creating a Culture of Collaboration from LinkedIn and Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from the Legal Lean Sigma Institute LLC, obtained in 2022 and 2019 respectively.
