Julio Cuellar

Julio Cuellar has a strong background in software engineering and management. Julio is currently serving as the Director of Software Test Engineering at Science 37, a position they have held since June 2022. Prior to this, they were the Manager of Software Test Engineering at the same company from September 2021 to May 2022. Before joining Science 37, Julio co-founded DonAid LLC in August 2020, where they served as the Co-Founder, Product Owner, and Engineering Support. Julio was responsible for providing business-related and engineering support for a donation fundraising mobile and web application platform. Julio also has extensive experience at NortonLifeLock, where they worked as a Senior Engineering Manager from June 2014 to June 2020. In this role, they led and managed a diverse engineering team responsible for building and delivering customized Norton cyber security solutions. Julio began their career at Symantec Corporation in November 2004, where they held various roles including Manager of Software QA Engineering, Supervisor of Software QA Engineering, and Software QA Lead Engineer. During their time at Symantec, they were responsible for automating build acceptance, product features, and licensing flows for the Norton consumer product line.

Julio Cuellar holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science from California State University, Northridge. Julio also completed the Technical Management Program at UCLA. In 2021, Julio attended Los Angeles Mission College and completed a Full Stack Web Development - MEAN program.
