Vijay Gombar

Vijay Gombar has a long and varied work experience. Vijay began their career in 1977 as a Reader at the Department of Pharm Sciences. In 1987, they became the Vice President of R&D at Health Designs/Oxford Molecular. In 1996, they were promoted to VP, R&D - Comp Tox at Oxford Molecular Group. From 1999 to 2004, they worked as a Senior Research Investigator, Senior Research Investigator, and Senior Research Scientist at GSK. In 2003, they became an Adjunct Professor at UNC-Chapel Hill. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Team Leader at Simulations Plus, Inc. and a Vice President at Molecular Networks - Altamira, LLC. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Data Science Specialist at Accenture - Operations. Currently, they are a Cheminformatics Scientist at Sciome LLC.

Vijay Gombar obtained their M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry from Panjab University in Chandigarh, India between 1972 and 1977.
