Nicholas Rajan, Ph.D., is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in radiobiology, systems biology, and neuroimmunology. Currently working at SCK CEN since June 2021, Nicholas contributes to the Department of Radiobiology. Previously, Nicholas held a scientist position at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson from August 2020 to June 2021. Nicholas has a notable research background, including a postdoctoral role at Université libre de Bruxelles, where the focus was on the role of a novel mRNA modification in murine embryonic stem cells. Nicholas completed a Ph.D. in Molecular Neuroscience at KU Leuven, where research investigated RNA binding protein functions related to intellectual disability. Nicholas's academic foundation also includes a Master’s degree in Regenerative Medicine from Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
