Bayron Guajardo

Bayron Guajardo is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in credit solutions and portfolio management. Currently serving as a Senior Manager and Team Lead at Scotiabank since November 2021, Bayron leads initiatives that enhance portfolio management techniques, significantly reducing overdue annual reviews. From March 2018 to July 2021, as a Credit Solutions Manager at Scotiabank, Bayron developed credit proposals across various sectors, including non-revolving loans for real estate acquisitions totaling around USD 400 million. Prior roles include Credit Analyst at MUFG, where credit applications for Japanese corporations in diverse industries were crafted, and teaching assistant positions at prestigious universities. Bayron holds a Master’s degree in Finance and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, along with an Associate of Arts degree from Saddleback College.
