Jose Ortiz

Jose Ortiz is currently serving as the Senior Vice President Ops&TI at Scotiabank. Prior to this, Jose was a Board Member at Mibanco Colombia and held various managerial positions at Banco de Crédito BCP. Jose has extensive experience in the banking industry, specializing in operations, technology, and process management. Jose has a Master's degree in Dirección de Empresas from Escuela de Dirección de la Universidad de Piura and a Bachelor's degree in Ingeniería Industrial from Universidad de Lima. Additionally, Jose has led projects such as the creation of the Area de Compras and the implementation of lean methodology at BCP and other companies within Credicorp.
