Mirela Gondor has over two decades of experience at Scotiabank, currently serving as VP AML Data, where responsibilities include leading the development of the anti-money laundering (AML) data strategy and connecting transformation initiatives within the AML data domain. Early career experience includes a Software Engineer position at Posta Romana. Mirela holds a Master's degree in Automatic Control and Computers from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest and has pursued professional development through the Canadian Securities Institute and Project Management Institute, earning a Certified Associate Program Manager (CAPM) designation.
