Ana Gallardo currently serves as the Head of Programme Unit at The Scottish Government, overseeing the National Strategy for Economic Transformation's Entrepreneurial People and Culture initiatives, with a focus on enhancing education, skills, and international relations to boost Scotland's entrepreneurial landscape. With extensive experience in the entrepreneurial sector, Gallardo has been with Scottish Enterprise since July 2009, where roles have included Team Leader for Entrepreneurial Development and Senior Manager for Entrepreneurial Talent Support. Prior positions include Programme Manager at ITI Scotland, Development Scientist at Hydrosense, and Immunosensor Project Manager at Cambridge Life Sciences. Gallardo holds advanced degrees in physics and biosensors from renowned institutions, including a PhD from Bangor University and a Master's from Universidad de Granada.
