John Redshaw

Principal Specialist Scientist at Scottish Environment Protection Agency

John Redshaw has extensive experience in environmental science, currently serving as Principal Specialist Scientist at the Scottish Environment Protection Agency since April 1996, where responsibilities include managing the Environmental Chemistry Unit and overseeing the Ecotoxicology National Centre. Prior to this role, John Redshaw held the position of Senior Ecotoxicologist and Water Pollution Control Scientist at Clyde River Purification Board from June 1985 to April 1996. John Redshaw's academic qualifications include a Postdoctorate Research Fellowship in Environmental Science from the University of Essex, a PhD in Environmental Science from the University of Essex, an MSc in Applied Hydrobiology from the University of Wales Institute of Science & Technology, and a BSc in Environmental Biology from the University of Liverpool.
