Pat Donovan

Pat Donovan is an experienced geologist with a robust background in both exploration and mine management. Currently serving as Principal Geologist at Scout Discoveries Corp. since February 2024, Pat previously held various roles at SSR Mining Inc. from September 2021 to October 2023, including Exploration Manager and Principal Exploration Geologist for the USA. Prior to this, Pat worked as a Consulting Engineer in Geotechnical and Hydrological Engineering at Nevada Gold Mines from December 2019 to July 2021, and in Geotechnical Engineering at Newmont Goldcorp Corporation from December 2017 to December 2019. Additional experience includes serving as Phoenix Mine Full Potential Manager and Continuous Improvement Manager at Newmont from December 2015 to December 2017, and as Surface Geology Mine Manager and Geology Mine Manager at Newmont Mining Corporation from February 2005 to December 2015.
