Yohance Sampson

Yohance Sampson is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the drilling industry. Currently serving as a Field Engineer for Scout Drilling Technologies since April 2021, Sampson specializes in building, programming, and testing measurement-while-drilling (M/WLD) tools and providing expertise in interpreting real-time data. Previous roles include a Directional Drilling Coordinator and Product & Service Delivery Manager at Schlumberger, where Sampson led drilling operations and managed client relationships. Additional experience includes positions as an Operations Support Specialist, Drilling Optimization Engineer at Smith International, and Directional Drilling Supervisor at Pathfinder Energy Services. Sampson holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Engineering Technology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
