Elaine Atherton

Elaine Atherton is the Head of Programs at Scratch Foundation, where Elaine leads the implementation of programmatic strategies to provide equitable opportunities for children and educators through Scratch programs. In the past, Elaine has held roles such as Director of Scratch Education Collaborative at Duke University Talent Identification Program and Director of Academics at Curriculum Associates. Elaine has a Ph.D. in Teacher Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and another Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
