Alyssa Baum

Alyssa Baum is a Senior Software Engineer currently at Graphite since June 2023, with prior experience at Google where Alyssa held the same title from August 2018 to June 2023, contributing to the Google Docs Offline team and leading projects related to Docs layout/rendering and the migration to Pageless Docs. Alyssa began at Google as a Software Engineering Intern in 2017 and has a rich background in teaching and educational support, having served as the Head of the TA Program at Brown University's Computer Science Department and as a Meiklejohn Academic Peer Advisor. Alyssa earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Brown University between 2014 and 2018. Additional experience includes internships at Happify and the technology department at The Pingry School, as well as roles as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for various computer science courses at Brown University.
