Kensuke Kuroda

Kensuke is a Principal at Scrum Ventures who leads the firm’s investments in domestic Japanese startups. He first joined Scrum Ventures in 2019 as an associate, working on investments and managing our open innovation programs such as Sports Tech Tokyo and SmartCityX, which support business co-creation between large corporations and entrepreneurs. Kensuke started his career as a management consultant at Strategy&, a part of the PwC network. In that role, he developed management and business strategies for both domestic and global corporations in a wide range of industries, including consumer goods, manufacturing, IT and healthcare. He holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Tokyo.
