Peter Hauwert is an experienced R&D Engineer with a strong background in chemical engineering and catalysis. Currently working at SCW Systems since March 2018, Peter specializes in the supercritical water gasification of biomass streams and biogas conversion. Previously, at Frames from July 2011 to November 2017, Peter developed technologies for natural gas treatment, focusing on practical applications and advancements in carbon dioxide removal and sulfur recovery. Peter earned a PhD from the University of Amsterdam, conducting research in organometallic chemistry and homogeneous catalysis. This academic foundation is complemented by an MSc from the same institution and earlier hands-on experience in the fragrance industry and chemical safety database management.
