Carlos Martín

Carlos Martín is a Principal Software Engineer and Tech Lead at ScyllaDB, where responsibilities include working on the Go backend of Scylla Cloud since August 2020. Previously, Carlos served as Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer at source{d}, contributing to a platform that analyzes source code for insights from January 2018 to November 2019. A sabbatical for travel occurred between November 2016 and December 2017, following a tenure at OpenNebula (2009-2016) as a Software Engineer, participating in open-source projects and international EU-funded initiatives. Carlos has also worked as a Cloud and Virtualization Technology Engineer/Researcher at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and developed a web interface for GridWay during Google Summer of Code in 2009. Educational qualifications include a Master of Research in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, both from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
