Aitana Conca

Aitana Conca has extensive experience in business development, strategy, and digital transformation. Aitana is currently the Director of EMEA Business Development at Sea/ by Maritech. Prior to this, they worked as a Mentor for Strategy & Business Model at ISDI Accelerator in 2021. From 2020 to 2022, they served as the Director of EMEA Business Development & Marketing at Chinsay. Aitana also held the position of Head of Digital Transformation at IFCHOR from 2018 to 2020, where they developed and executed a digital transformation roadmap to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

Before IFCHOR, Aitana had a successful tenure at Cargill from 2005 to 2018, where they held multiple roles. As the Global Head of Middle Desk & Contract Management, they led a global team and implemented operational process reengineering and strategic partnerships. Aitana also served as the Business Excellence Lead, where they promoted continuous improvement and achieved business excellence recognition for the organization. Aitana was also the Middle Desk Manager, responsible for implementing business process automation and organizational changes. Additionally, they led a global project and improved trading processes as a Project Manager. Aitana began their career as a Credit Risk Analyst and Trading Accountant at Cargill, where they improved the department's value proposition and implemented technology resources.

Furthermore, Aitana has experience in financial accounting and administration, having worked at MeesPierson as a Financial Accounting & Administration specialist. Aitana also served as the Deputy CFO at Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts earlier in their career.
