Sreenithya Saravana

Sreenithya Saravana has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and business intelligence. Sreenithya is currently working as a Data Engineer at Sea/ by Maritech since September 2022.

Prior to their current role, Sreenithya worked at Care Quality Commission from January 2019 to August 2022, where they served as a Data Engineer. Sreenithya'sresponsibilities included designing, developing, and testing ETL solutions and reporting requirements for data warehouse systems. Sreenithya also played a key role in understanding business requirements and translating them into technical solutions. Additionally, Sreenithya planned and coordinated the analysis, design, and extraction of data from multiple source systems into the data warehouse database to ensure data integrity and meet the organization's needs.

Before their time at Care Quality Commission, Sreenithya worked as a Business Intelligence / ETL Developer from August 2014 to December 2018 at the same company. In this role, they translated user inputs into ETL and OBIEE design documents and was responsible for the design, development, and testing of ETL mappings and workflows using Informatica Power Center. Sreenithya also developed various reporting requirements using OBIEE 12c and OAC. Sreenithya actively participated in user meetings, gathering requirements, and discussing issues to be resolved.

Sreenithya's earlier experience includes working as an OBIEE Developer at Royal Bank of Scotland Group in July 2011 for a short period. Sreenithya developed and tested OBIEE RPDs and reports, identified best practices, and provided guidance on application and technical design decisions.

At the beginning of their career, Sreenithya worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at Wipro Technologies in July 2010 and as a Technical Associate at Tech Mahindra from August 2005 to June 2010.

Overall, Sreenithya Saravana has developed a strong skill set in data engineering, ETL development, and business intelligence throughout their various roles in different organizations.

Sreenithya Saravana completed a B.Sc degree in Computer Technology from PSG College of Technology in 2002. Sreenithya then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Birla Institute of Science and Technology, Pilani from 2005 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Sreenithya Saravana has obtained two certifications. In May 2014, they earned the Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation Suite 11g Certified Implementation Specialist certification from Oracle. Later, in July 2021, they obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate certification from Microsoft.
