Jose Carlos Da Silva Jr has over 20 years of experience in network engineering. Jose Carlos began their career in 1995 as a RF Planning Engineering at NEC Brasil S.A. Jose Carlos then moved to Alcatel Lucent Brasil in 1999 as a Specialist IV. In 2000, they joined Alcatel Submarine Networks ASN France as a Service Engineer. In 2002, they began working at Global Crossing as a Senior Network Engineer. From 2011 to 2016, they worked at Level 3 Communications as a Senior Network Engineer. Jose Carlos then moved to Seaborn Networks in 2016 as a Senior Cable Station Engineer, where they provided O&M for SDH/DWDM/OTN/IP, Optical Networks (Submarine and Terrestrial), Supervision Systems in a great diversity of providers (Alcatel Lucent/Infinera/Ciena/Nec/Cisco/Juniper) and all infrastructure components (AC/DC Power, HVAC, Security Systems, etc.). Jose Carlos was also responsible for preparing technical requirements and specifications for key network platforms and emerging network technologies, developing testing MOPs, performing integration testing, deploying new platforms, features and code releases, and working closely with network architecture, system engineering, product development, product management, OSP Team, and vendors.

Jose Carlos Da Silva Jr has a long education history. Jose Carlos began their studies in 1988 at Aristóteles Ferreira Tech. School, where they obtained a Technician degree in Eletronic. From 1991 to 1995, they attended Unisanta and earned an Engineering degree in Electrical Eletronic. Jose Carlos then moved on to Universidade Federal Fluminense, where they earned an MBA in Telecommunications Services from 2001 to 2002. Finally, they attended UNISANTA from 2005 to 2007 and earned an Engineering degree in Computing. Additionally, they obtained a FlexIIS SLTE Type B1 certification from Infinera - Brazil in 2015.
