Per G Breivik

Per G Breivik has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Per G initially started their career as an Electrician at Farstad Shipping ASA, where they supported the repair and operation of electrical and electronic systems in the Brazilian fleet. Per G also took on the inspector role for new builds and handled IT and electrical responsibilities at the office in Brazil.

Following this, Breivik worked at Transocean as an Electrical Supervisor. Here, they managed technicians, supervised contractors, and planned and budgeted all work on electrical and electronic systems and drilling equipment. Per G was involved in a significant upgrade project on the Sedco 706 rig based in Singapore.

Breivik's most recent position was at Seadrill, where they held various roles. Per G started as the Technical Leader for the West Eminence rig, managing all technical matters during its transition from Korea to Brazil. Later, they became the Rig Leader for the same rig, overseeing the rig transit operation and budgeting for voyages and stacking. Per G then worked as an Asset Integrity Manager, improving communication and achieving cost savings through negotiation of service agreements. Per G was also a Workstream Solution Manager, spearheading a global project to enhance productivity across multiple rigs. Most recently, they served as the Head of Maintenance, leading a team in implementing technological solutions and restructuring the department.

Overall, Per G Breivik has significant experience in managing technical operations, implementing improvements, and leading teams in the offshore drilling industry.

Per G Breivik completed their education in the field of Electro Automation at Aalesund Maritime Technical College from 1992 to 1995. In 2016, they attended the University of Cambridge for the General Management Program. In 2018, they participated in the IMD Business School's Seadrill Experienced Leader Program. Additionally, they hold a certification as an Electro-Automation Technician.
