Qaseem Usman Rais

Qaseem Usman Rais has a diverse work experience in various finance-related roles. Qaseem Usman started their career as an Audit Trainee at Muniff Ziauddin Junaidy & Co. in 2007. Qaseem Usman then worked as a Senior Accounts Executive and later as an Assistant Manager Accounts at e2e Supply Chain Management Ltd. from 2008 to 2015. After that, they served as an Assistant Manager Accounts at e2e Logistics (Private) Limited for a year. Qaseem then joined Combined Freight (Pvt.) Ltd. as a Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary in 2016 and worked there until 2020. During their tenure, they were responsible for various tasks such as bank position reporting, correspondence with foreign agents, and monitoring payments to vendors. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as a Manager Accounts & Finance at ELC (PRIVATE) LIMITED, where they dealt with payment vouchers, payroll reviews, and vendor statements. As of 2022, Qaseem is currently the Head of AP/AR/Billing & Reporting at Sealink International Inc.

Qaseem Usman Rais has a comprehensive education history in the field of accounting and finance. Qaseem Usman obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Accounting and Finance from Iqra University (Official) between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they pursued a Certificate in Business Accounting from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in 2011.

In 2009, Qaseem completed their Masters of Commerce (M.Com) in Commerce from Karachi University. Qaseem Usman also holds a CA Foundation qualification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, which they obtained between 2004 and 2006.

Furthermore, Qaseem has a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Commerce from Karachi University, which they earned from 2003 to 2005. Qaseem Usman started their higher education journey with an Intermediate (HSC) degree in Science from D.J. Sindh Government Science College in 2000. Before that, they completed Matriculation (SSC) with a Pre-Engineering focus from A.S.F. Public School in 2000.

Qaseem's English language proficiency is certified through their successful completion of the IELTS General Training Test, scoring an Overall Band Score of 7.0 and achieving CEFR Level C1. Qaseem Usman also previously passed the IELTS Academic Test with an Overall Band Score of 7.0.

Lastly, in their earlier years, Qaseem obtained the Presentation Skills Training Course (PSTC) from Tabani's School of Accountancy in January 2006 and the Course of Computer Practical Training (CCPT) in July 2004, also from Tabani's School of Accountancy.
