Savannah Hughes

Savannah Hughes is a Member Operations Associate at Seated. Savannah has over two years of experience working in digital strategy, including campaign planning, ad buys, email marketing, and fundraising.

Savannah began their career as a Digital Strategist at New Blue Interactive in May 2019. There, they worked on a variety of political campaigns at the state and federal level. In their role, they were responsible for executing digital fundraising and advertising plans, as well as spearheading recruiting efforts for fellowships and internships.

In February 2020, Savannah moved to 50+1 Strategies, LLC., where they served as Senior Digital Strategist. During their time there, they were part of a team that placed $4.75 million in digital ads, served 320 million impressions, managed three digital organizing programs, and recruited hundreds of thousands of activists to important causes. Additionally, they grew the company's email list by 370% exclusively through free and organic methods. Savannah was also responsible for executing a national influencer strategy which garnered 55 million+ impressions.

In 2021, Savannah was awarded the Reed Award for Best Use of a Social Platform (Democratic) for their work on the 50+1 Strategies team.

Savannah is fluent in Spanish and Mandarin, and has trained hundreds of 2020 California activists in digital organizing best practices, influencer strategy, and email marketing with the California Democratic Party + Schools and Communities First Coalition.

Savannah Hughes earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Communications from Emerson College and a Bachelor of Arts in International Comparative Politics from American University of Paris. Savannah also holds an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Suzhou Singapore International School.
