Erica Poon

Erica Poon has a diverse work experience in the fields of product design, user experience (UX) design, and research. Erica has worked as a Product Designer at SeatGeek since 2023. Prior to that, they were a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Michigan - School of Information from 2022 to 2023. Erica also gained experience as a Product Management Intern at NBCUniversal in 2022. In addition, Erica has held leadership positions, serving as President of the Michigan Animation Club from 2018 to 2022. Erica has also worked as a UX Designer and Researcher at the University of Michigan - School of Information from 2020 to 2021 and as a User Experience Designer at Honesti in 2020. Erica's work experience also includes roles as a Researcher at the University of Michigan School of Information from 2019 to 2020 and as a User Experience Researcher at the City of Ann Arbor in 2019. Erica began their career as an Archive Research Assistant at the Ann Arbor Film Festival from 2017 to 2018.

Erica Poon has an extensive education history that spans multiple fields of study. Erica began their education in 2017 at the University of Michigan, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art and Design in 2022. During their undergraduate years, Erica decided to further their education in the field of Information and enrolled in the University of Michigan - School of Information. Erica completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Information in 2022, and then pursued a Master of Science degree in Information from the same institution, which they are expected to complete in 2023. Alongside their formal education, Erica also obtained a certification titled "Introducing Rhino 6" from LinkedIn in October 2019.
