Hannah Withers has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Hannah began their career as an intern at McSweeney's, where they wrote reports and assisted with proofreading and fact-checking. Hannah then interned at NPR, working on segments, pitching story ideas, and facilitating live tapings. Following this, they worked as a live radio reporter and contributor at Vocalo.org, writing, producing, and editing news segments. Hannah also worked as an Associate Director at The Academic Approach, where they managed and mentored staff and interfaced with clients. Hannah also served as an audio editor at The Kenyon Review and a creative writing instructor at Free Verse. Hannah has experience teaching composition and fiction at the University of Montana and worked as a copywriter at Live Wire Radio, where they crafted content and assisted with marketing strategies. Currently, they are an Enablement Manager at SeatGeek, overseeing content and previously held roles as a Senior Project Manager and CX Manager.

Hannah Withers completed their high school education at Polytechnic School from 2003 to 2007, obtaining a High School Diploma. Hannah then pursued their undergraduate studies at Kenyon College from 2007 to 2011, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a focus on English, specifically Creative Writing. Following this, they furthered their education at the University of Montana, where they obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree specializing in Fiction, from 2014 to 2016.
