Andrea Fieber

Marine Science Interpreter & Diver at Seattle Aquarium

Andrea Fieber is a dedicated marine science professional currently serving as a Marine Science Interpreter and Diver at the Seattle Aquarium since December 2021. Prior to this role, Andrea held the position of Director of Science & Education at The Central Coast Aquarium from July 2020 to November 2021, and worked as a Science Instructor at the College of the Redwoods from June 2018 to August 2020. Andrea's experience includes serving as a Graduate Teaching Associate at Humboldt State University, and earlier roles as Education & Laboratory Assistant at USC Wrigley Marine Science Center, Substitute Naturalist with KERN Environmental Education, and Interpretive Specialist with California State Parks. Andrea also has research experience, including an internship at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center focused on invasive species, and field study in the Peruvian Amazon. Andrea earned a Master's degree in Biology from Humboldt State University and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management and Protection from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
