Allison Matsumoto

Allison Matsumoto has a diverse work experience in various communication roles. Allison is currently the Director of Communications at Seattle Foundation. Prior to that, they worked as the Collaborative Communications Director at EnviroIssues, where they focused on community engagement and business development. Allison also held the position of Director of Equity and Communications at United Way of Snohomish County, where they worked on poverty alleviation initiatives. Additionally, they were the owner of Allison Matsumoto Communications Consulting, providing strategic communications services to clients. Allison also worked at TiLeaf Group as an Associate, specializing in native advocacy, and at Partnership for Learning as the Communications Director. Earlier in their career, they worked at Talaris Research Institute as the Director of Creative Services and at Pyramid Communications as a Project Manager.

Allison Matsumoto holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Marketing, from the University of Oregon Lundquist College of Business. Allison has also earned a Certificate in Social Media Technologies and Implementation from the University of Washington Continuing Education. In 2021, they completed a Certificate of Completion from the Transformational Leadership Institute for Healing, Liberation, and Racial Equity.
