Hewan Teshome

Hewan Teshome is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel for both Seattle Kraken and Climate Pledge Arena since 2020. Prior experience includes the role of Vice President and General Counsel at VICIS, Inc. from 2017 to 2020, and serving as an Independent Consultant in Legal and Business Advisory from 2014 to 2017. Hewan held the position of Vice President for Corporate and Legal Affairs at SouthWest Holdings from 2011 to 2013 and worked as an Associate in the Corporate, Finance and Tax Group at Hogan Lovells from 2008 to 2010. Early in the career, Hewan was a Legal Intern at the Federal Communications Commission in 2007. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor degree from Stanford Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from New York University, supplemented by a short-term study at the University of Havana in 2004.
