Jakub Begera

Jakub Begera has a diversified work experience. Jakub started as an Electrical Engineer at JHV Engineering in 2013 before transitioning to a role as a Software Engineer and Researcher at IEAP CTU in Prague in 2013. In 2014, they joined CERN as an ATLAS TPX software developer. Jakub also served as a Member of the Academic Senate at Czech Technical University in Prague from 2017 to 2019. In 2016, they worked as an Android Developer at EASYCORE before joining Inventi LABS in 2018 as an Android Developer, where they worked on various Android applications. Jakub then joined Avast as a Senior Software Engineer in 2019 and subsequently became a Software Engineering Consultant at NAV Flight Services. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Software Engineer at Second Foundation.

Jakub Begera obtained a Bachelor's degree in Open Informatics - Software Systems from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague in 2016. Jakub then pursued a Master's degree in Open Informatics - Software Engineering from the same institution, completing it in 2019. In 2018, Jakub studied abroad at Tecnológico de Costa Rica. Additionally, in 2015, they attended the Aerospace Information Technology Summer School at The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg. Prior to their university education, from 2009 to 2013, Jakub studied Elektrotechnika se zaměřením na výpočetní a automatizační techniku at Střední průmyslová škola elektrotechnická a Vyšší odborná škola in Pardubice. As for certifications, Jakub obtained a Private Pilot License (Airplane) from the Úřad pro civilní letectví in 2021.
