Ally Parsons has a strong background in marketing and communications. Ally is currently working as the Chief Development & Marketing Officer at Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, where they oversee the development and marketing strategies. Prior to this role, Ally held various positions within the organization, including Senior Director, Marketing & Communications, Director of Marketing & Communications, Director of Marketing, and Marketing Manager. In these roles, they focused on implementing digital marketing strategies, managing online fundraising, coordinating social media communication, email marketing, campaign and event marketing. Ally also served as an Official Member of the Forbes Nonprofit Council in 2017. Before joining Second Harvest, Ally worked at Flat Creek: RootsHQ and Studio 31A as an Account Executive/Project Manager. Ally began their career in retail sales at BCBG Max Azria, where they served as an Assistant Store Manager and was responsible for staff management, sales goal achievement, payroll management, client event planning and marketing, and reaching personal sales goals.
Ally Parsons attended the University of Mississippi from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Public Relations.
