Jason Albert is an Associate Director with Secretariat Economists in Washington, DC. Dr. Albert’s work focuses on the economic analysis of antitrust and other competition issues, as well as damages analysis. Prior to joining Secretariat Economists, Dr. Albert was a staff economist in the Antitrust Division at the Department of Justice for four years, where he analyzed antitrust issues in the healthcare, media, cybersecurity, and construction industries. While much of his work has involved mergers, he has expertise in other competition issues, including collusion and monopolization. He has also taught graduate level courses in microeconomics at Georgetown University and The George Washington University. Dr. Albert received a Ph.D. with Distinction in Economics from Georgetown University and B.A.s in Math and Economics from the University of Rochester.
