Dinesh Katkar

Dinesh Katkar has extensive experience as a hardware design engineer. Dinesh started their career in 2011 as a Junior Design Engineer at Bit Mapper Integration Technologies Pvt. Ltd. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Hardware Design Engineer at Upwork, where they participated in hardware development and design for Home Automation products.

In 2013, Dinesh joined ELDAAS Technologies Pvt. Ltd. as a Hardware Development Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for understanding customer requirements, selecting electronic components, and finalizing hardware schematic designs. Dinesh also handled power estimation, power supply design, and component procurement.

From 2015 to 2016, Dinesh worked as a Freelancer & Consultant - Hardware Design Engineer for MINIPACK AMERICA, INC. Dinesh successfully delivered hardware modules, including display panel modules and control unit hardware modules for Vacuum Packaging machines. Dinesh also worked on temperature sensing for food using a K-type Thermocouple.

In 2016, Dinesh joined EmbDes Technologies Pvt. Ltd. as a Hardware Design Engineer and later as a Hardware Design & Business Development Consultant. Dinesh handled the development of hardware and design, including understanding specifications, component selection, and schematic capture. Dinesh also handled business development activities such as cold calling, client visits, proposal writing, and negotiation.

In 2017, Dinesh worked as a Hardware Engineer at Acclivis Technologies Pvt Ltd, where they were involved in hardware development and design. Dinesh interacted with CAD resources for schematic capture and layout review and gathered client requirements.

From 2018 to 2021, Dinesh worked as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer for Upwork, where they served clients from various countries. Dinesh was responsible for high-level architectural design approach, documentation, and hardware development.

Currently, Dinesh is working as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer at SecureThings, where they are involved in the implementation of Telematics Control Units and AIS140 Certified Vehicle Tracking System Unit for a Tier-1 OEM Customer. Dinesh is responsible for high-level architectural design, hardware development, and interaction with CAD resources.

Dinesh Katkar completed their education in the field of Electronics Engineering. From 2005 to 2008, they attended Walchand Institute of Technology, Solapur, where they earned their Bachelor's Degree. Prior to that, they studied at Solapur Education Society Polytechnic College, Solapur, from 2002 to 2005. During this time, they obtained a Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
