Scott Turner

Scott Turner has a diverse work experience in the engineering and security consulting industry. Scott started their career as an Intern-Student Engineer at Boeing Satellite Systems, where they were responsible for designing and analyzing circuit boards. Scott then joined Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems as a Systems Engineer and later transitioned into a Communication Systems Engineer role. At Securicon, LLC, they held various positions starting as a Senior Security Consultant and eventually became a Principal Engineer. Scott also worked as a Managing Consultant and is currently serving as the Director.

Scott Turner holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, which they obtained in 2003. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at Purdue University, completing it in 2005. In 2011, they became a Professional Engineer certified by the California Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. Scott also has various certifications in the field of information systems security and defense, including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP®) from (ISC)², which they obtained in April 2016, the BreakingPoint Systems Specialist Certification from Ixia, achieved in October 2015, the Tufin Certified Security Expert (TCSE) from Tufin, obtained in December 2013, and the GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED) from GIAC, achieved in July 2016.
