Jorge Serna

Jorge Serna is the current Chief of Product and Technology at Securitize. Jorge has over 20 years of experience in product management and technology. Jorge started their career at Telefonica in 2009 as a Product Director for Personal Communications. In this role, Jorge was responsible for overall strategy, product definition and implementation for all of Telefonica's Personal Communication products. Jorge successfully rolled out TU Go in 6 markets with millions of MAUs. In 2018, Jorge left Telefonica to join FOM Asesoramiento Tecnologico as a Lecturer on Industry 4.0 Master's Degree course. In this role, Jorge was responsible for the module "Digital Ecosystems - Communication Services and New Connected Devices". Jorge has been with Securitize since May 2021.

Jorge Serna has a Master in Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, a Global Engineering Leadership Program from University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. Jorge also has a degree in Sociology from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. and certification from Coursera in Machine Learning by Stanford University and Pragmatic Marketing in Pragmatic Marketing Certified.

Jorge Serna reports to Carlos Domingo, CEO & Co-Founder. They are on a team with Dan Garzia - Chief Marketing Officer, Miki Bergen - VP, R&D, and Scott Harrigan - CEO, Securitize Markets.
