Alan Lufkin

Alan Lufkin is a seasoned law firm risk management and compliance professional with extensive experience in business intake and case management. Currently serving as the Director of Business Intake at Thompson Hine LLP since October 2011, Alan leads a team dedicated to identifying and mitigating ethical and business risks within the firm. Alan also contributes to Seeds of Literacy as the Associate Director of Business Intake and as a Board Member, supporting adult literacy initiatives. Previous roles include Manager of Case Management and Project Manager at Litigation Management Inc., where Alan managed large teams and implemented strategic improvements. Early legal experience includes an externship with Federal District Court - Northern District of Ohio, where Alan drafted judicial opinions and collaborated on case strategies. Alan holds a JD from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and a BA in Political Science and History from Case Western Reserve University.
