Daniela Ximenes

Daniela Ximenes has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Daniela started their career as a Trainee in the International Sales Department at Tait Electronics New Zealand in 2001. Later that year, they moved to Navman New Zealand as a Business Development executive for South America.

In 2002, Daniela joined New Zealand Trade & Enterprise - Brazil as a Business Development Manager and Office Manager. In this role, they provided assistance to New Zealand companies in Brazil, managed the São Paulo office, and organized trade promotion activities.

From 2006 to 2013, Daniela worked at PGG Wrightson Ltd as the Country Manager and Business Development Manager in Brazil. Daniela played a crucial role in starting up PGG Wrightson Seeds Brazil, establishing strategic relationships, and developing the distribution channel.

In 2014, Daniela became the Brazil Country Manager for Seequent, where they were responsible for building the company's presence in Brazil, executing growth strategies, and collaborating with enterprise clients. Daniela currently holds the position of Director, Regional Operations - Latin America at Seequent since 2023.

In addition to their corporate roles, Daniela is a Member of the Board of Directors at the Latin America New Zealand Business Council, starting from 2022.

Daniela Ximenes has a diverse education history. In 2018, they pursued a degree in Management with a focus on Leadership at Ohio University. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010, Daniela completed an Executive MBA at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, specializing in Economic and Financial Management. In 2004, they attended the University of Canterbury for a negotiation workshop. Earlier in their academic journey, from 2000 to 2002, they obtained an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Ibmec. In 1993, Daniela achieved a Bachelor of Laws from PUC Minas. Daniela also holds language certifications, including a Certificat de Langue Française from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne in 1996 and an English Certificate from Bell College in Saffron Walden, UK in 1993. Most recently, in 2021, Daniela obtained a Course Certificate in Preparation for Board Members from IBGC - Instituto Brasileiro de Governança Corporativa.
