Gladys Onyango

Director, Program Learning & Impact at Segal Family Foundation

Gladys works as Director of Program Learning & Impact. She spearheads initiatives to evaluate the impact of their programs and cultivates a culture of active learning, sharing of stories and insights to inform their current and future work.

Gladys has over seven years’ experience working in the non-profit and philanthropy space in Africa. She holds a BA in African Studies from Wellesley College and a Masters in Development Practice from the University of California, Berkeley where she focused on examining social policy and health access disparities facing older adults in Kenya. She has focused her career on supporting marginalized populations to be heard and take action on issues that affect them. She most recently worked with young African changemakers at the Open Society Foundations.
